The Birthday Massacre, heart meds, cameras, dolls, hodge podge….

;p  A Blogger pot pourri, if you will.  Jus' cuz.

The Birthday Massacre...I looooove this band almost as much as Depeche Mode.  Well, maybe as much (yes.  I did just say that).  And I've been so busy that I've not had a chance to download the rest of their new music, last two albums, remix CD's… *sigh*  I've missed so much!  The newest albums are fantastic, and such a nice listen in the car on long drives to Mobile, or just around town… or on the iPod/iPhone… or whatever.

Shallow Grave and Sideways are my two faces now, hands-down, and… how perfectly they melt together, being tracked side-by-side on the album.  :)  Nice touch.  Very nice indeed.  Brilliant, Chibi!

On another note….

Gosh my Dr. is STUBBORN!  Even more so than me.  Go figure.  I want OFF this doggone heart medication, like yesterday.  I'd rather put up with the arrhythmia and the odd split in my BP than this unbelievable fatigue.  Phooey.  For now I'll give this new medication another week.  But that's it.  Then I'm calling him again and asking one more time… to be taken OFF.  Well, weaned off.  I know these things can't be stopped abruptly.  But geez.  enough already.  Drs like prescribing Rx's way too much, imho.

Um.  I guess that's it for now.  Sooooooo s'eepy.  Off to listen to TBM so I can hear Shallow Grave and Sideways (especially the latter)…. :)

Nite nite.

Good week. :)

It's been a really good week.  T's birthday was really nice and relaxing, just the way he wanted.  His co-workers decked out his desk and working area and took him to lunch, so that was really awesome. :)  His family sent cards and goodies.  And of course we celebrated with cake, good food, a movie, and watching the Gators win. ;p  A lot of fun, good laughs, good times.  And who knew I'd like basketball?  (makes more sense to me than football, actually lol).

Still putting the house together.  I must say things are combing along, though it is a bit slower than I'd anticipated.  Here I had this idea I/we would have everything done in a week or so. *snort*  Yeah.  I know better now. lol  But it's a process.  At least the house was already renovated, so the hard part was done (or at least most of it).

I still haven't hung anything on the walls yet, but there's a good reason for that.  We have a couple of pieces of furniture we are anticipating getting, like a china cabinet for the dining room (for one), so that will take up a bit of wall space.  Once everything is in it's place, THEN the walls will take on more life.  For now, the living room has than one huge stretched canvas painting I found at Kirkland's and fell in love with.  Somehow, not only does that painting work over the mantle, but it's going to be the anchor for that whole room….

The entire house came with Tuscan 'bones,' and strangely much of what I had fit right in.  And the rest… is just falling right into place as if it were all just meant to be.  It's beginning to have that feel to it…

On to part II after a bit.  Or tomorrow. ;p  My camera arrived a little while ago, so… there's that….

Laterz!...

Funniest Saturday evvuh! lol

What a day.  Good, hilariously exhausting.  Too funny…and I'm sure people wondered what the heck could be THAT funny.  If they only knew. rofl

Some funnies are accidental or incidental, and some are, well, on purpose.  And it's especially giggle-worthy when a super-geek with a ginormous IQ displays that inner child so blatantly. ;p  I wake up laughing hysterically, go to bed laughing, and spend the better part of my day the same way.

You can dress him up but can't take him anywhere (without him making you laugh). ;p  Honestly.  Guys.  lol  They will always be what they will always be, but I'm glad the ones I hang out with most have the ability to shed the stuffy, corporate bubble-wrap and let it all hang out (within reason) when it comes time to be free.  :)

So silly.  And yeah, he wondered how long it took for someone to come along and mix things up. *snort*

This one…. was ALL packaging. lol too funny.

Seriously…. silly day.  Lots of fun and goofiness.  :)

So much for strong suggestions
