Birmingham Road Trip! With heart. ;p

Sooooo, it seems a road trip is in order to get an EPS.  I have to see an electrophysiologist about my heart and get another heart cath, this time to trigger it into arrhythmia... Afib, PAC, PVC, whatever it does when it does its thing.  Or all the above.  My cardiologist (plumbing guy) can only do so much, and the electrical guy (electrophysiologist) has to determine what and how and exactly where, as well as IF this breathlessness, etc., etc. is indeed cardiac-related.

The short bursts AF that the monitor picked up may not be the whole story.  OR... it may be.  Thing is, I only had the monitor on a little over a week, and in that time I had short bursts of AF, whereas in the past my "palpitations" could, and often did last, from 15 mins up to an hour.

As I always say (and told my cardiologist), just like that Warner Bros Frog... my heart will usually only sing and dance for me (or for anyone but a cardiologist).  That is, until the event monitor.

But then, maybe the monitor wasn't left on long enough.  Of COURSE a week or so before the monitor I had 5 episodes in a day and a half, lasting from 10+ minutes to almost 45 minutes.  At the cardiologist... "Bwrrraaaaawwp!"  Yeah.  It tends to be that way.  But little froggy is gonna get a little shock in the rumpus in Birmingham, though!  That'll make him dance! ;p

So they'll use medications to speed up my heart, medications and current, etc. to force the arrhythmia(s)... then go from there.  Maybe we'll figure something out.  Maybe not.  Maybe we'll rule out cardiac issues causing this whatever-it-is.  Maybe if we do discover what it is they can just do an ablation or block the disruptive current.  We will see.

Til then I wait for the call to see when I go... and the little frog will dance (albeit against the flood of medication lol).

I guess I don't feel as safe as I once did posting all the juicy stuff here. lol  But then, the link to the other blog may go here.  And... maybe the juicy stuff.... well, we'll see what I'm willing to post there.

Doesn't mean I won't be posting here, though.  Just so ya know.   Just depends on how the mood strikes me.  I'm testing driving the new site to see how it goes, so.... who knows... maybe I will like it better over there.

Still straddling the fence, as you can see.  But hey.  It is what it is.  Ha! Sounds like a good new blog title to me. lol  Maybe.  We'll see.

Dust collector

I've no idea, STILL, which blog to keep.  Perhaps I'll just allow one to just sit and collect cyber-dust.  That's kind of stupid, though, honestly.  There's far to many posts to copy and paste, so... what to do, what to do.

Maybe I'll just do nothing.  Let it be and move on.

I guess since I don't feel completely compelled in one direction or another... I may just wait it out.  OR, I may just add a permanent link here to other blog and let it just be...and continue to post there as the whim and/or mood hits me.

Sure wish Blogger would revamp their templates, though.  I love having my photography on here, but I'm really all about making a total change here and freshening things up.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions

Too many blogs.

I honestly thought if I separated them by what I was going to talk about that it would make it easier.  What WAS I thinking??!!

*sigh*

So, I have to make a decision, and soon.  I'm not up to maintaining all of this anymore, so I have to decide which one I'll keep.
